expensAI is a fully offline application. We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal data, financial information, receipts, SMS content, or voice recordings on any external servers.

All voice recognition, OCR, SMS parsing, and categorization happens locally on your device.
Your financial data never touches any server.

3. Permissions

The app requires the following permissions to function:

Microphone: To capture voice input for expense logging.
Camera: To scan receipts.
SMS (Read Only): To detect bank transaction messages locally.

4. SMS Data Handling

expensAI reads SMS messages solely to detect bank transaction notifications. No SMS content is stored beyond the extracted transaction data, and no messages are transmitted externally.
